Marvasti Foundation Awarded ASCRS Foundation Grant to Restore Vision

The Marvasti Foundation is proud to announce it has received a $12,500 grant from the ASCRS Foundation through the Operation Sight program to support charitable cataract surgery for patients who cannot afford care.

This funding is expected to help provide approximately 50 sight-restoring cataract surgeries in 2026, giving patients the opportunity to regain vision and independence.

“We are deeply grateful to the ASCRS Foundation for supporting our mission,” said Dr. Amir Marvasti, founder of the Marvasti Foundation. “Restoring vision is one of the most powerful ways we can change someone’s life.”

The Marvasti Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that financial barriers never prevent someone from receiving life-changing eye care, and partnerships like this make that mission possible.
